Tourmaline is famed for its range of dazzling colours. It is available in rich reds, known as rubellites to delicate mint blues, known as Pariba. It also known for being found in more than one colour like the piece we have here.
The term, Tourmaline is derived from the Sinhala word , ‘turmalii’, meaning ‘mixed colours’.
